RV Insurance

What Does RV Insurance Cover?

RV insurance covers many of the same things as auto insurance, like collision, comprehensive, and liability. In addition, you can add several options that an RV might require such as:

  • Vacation / Campsite Liability Coverage: Pays for damage or injuries to another party for which you’re liable. (e.g. a guest falls out of your RV and breaks an arm because you neglected to fix the steps.)
  • Emergency expenses: Pays for alternate living arrangements if your RV is uninhabitable due to a covered loss.
  • Towing and roadside coverage: Although you can get roadside assistance on a standard auto policy, towing an RV is much more costly as it typically requires a special tow truck.
  • Full-timer coverage: If your RV is your full time home, you can add many of the same coverage options as a homeowners policy.
